Edward Johnston, Dundalk:-Lost with SS Dundalk, 14 October 1918

James Kirwan, Clogherhead:- HMS Carmania action with Cap Trafalgar, 1914

Mortimer McCarthy, Kinsale:-
Terra Nova crew member
Scott’s Antarctic expedition of 1911

Thomas McLoughlan, Moville:- Lost with SS St Barchan, 21 October 1918

James Melia, Dundalk:-Believed executed by Free State firing squad, January 1923

William Warren, Kingstown:-Lost with RMS Leinster, 10 October 1918
